Tynt Meadow English Trappist Ale 7.4% ABV
Tynt Meadow English Trappist Ale 7.4% ABV
Tynt Meadow is mahogany-colored, with a subtle, warm red hue, and a lasting beige head. Its aroma carries hints of dark chocolate, liquorice, and rich fruit flavors. The beer is full-bodied, gently balancing the taste of dark chocolate, pepper, and fig. It leaves a warm and dry finish on the palate.
About The Maker
Tynt Meadow is made at Mount St. Bernard Abbey, and is the only trappist brewery in England. Brewed by monks who rely on income to maintain upkeep of their monastary, the centuries' old history of brewing was revived when they closed the dairy farm in 2013. It was named ‘Tynt Meadow’ to honour the link with the plot of land on which monastic life was refounded in the Midlands almost two centuries ago
